Project features

The Kids Area project was designed for restaurants and inns that serve families with children and host events with large numbers of guests. The structure uses the full height of the room, creating a multi-level system of platforms, passages, ramps, tunnels, and slides. This layout makes it possible to designate the indoor playground in a restaurant as an independent functional zone, separated from the dining area. The project addresses the needs of children of different ages by combining a soft play zone with larger agility elements, making it a universal solution for high-traffic food-service venues.

Safety and ergonomics

User safety is a key element of the design—especially in food-service facilities. As part of the implementation, all levels, passages, and platforms are secured with protective netting, and play elements are made from shock-absorbing materials. Ergonomic platform heights, appropriate ramp inclines, and a clear circulation layout ensure smooth movement for children and reduce the risk of hazardous situations. This indoor playground in a restaurant also allows for easy supervision of children, even when caregivers are in another part of the venue.

Adaptation options

The Kids Area project has strong adaptation potential. Its modular construction allows the layout to be adjusted to the available restaurant space, the scale of the structure to be changed, and the color scheme and graphic markings to be personalized. The indoor playground in a restaurant can be expanded with additional attractions—such as extra slides, agility obstacles, or interactive elements—growing alongside the venue’s profile and event offering.

Project visualization

Project gallery: Kids Area

The gallery presents the multi-level layout of the structure, including a soft play zone and larger agility elements. The visualizations show how an indoor playground in a restaurant can operate as a separate room while remaining consistent with the character of the food-service venue.

SOFT PLAY

Soft play technical data

The project is built using soft play technology and is based on a stable frame structure designed for intensive use. The materials used are durable, wear-resistant, and easy to keep clean—crucial for restaurant environments. A structure height of 5.00 m enables maximum use of the room’s volume while maintaining high safety standards.
